About
I've used glow a lot with making little machinima movies (where it's been known as bloom). Unfortunately, if it was turned on, it was applied to everything that was full bright as well as the sun in the sky. With the latest First Look client, glow has been introduced to individual faces and no longer needs to be turned on through debug settings. The green line under the numbers on my server has a glow of .30 (30%). Now we can have glowing swords for Jedi Knights and LED lights on electronic equipment. I haven't checked the scripting out yet, but I bet you could make a pulsating glow for a wii's disc drive. From Dedric Mauriac via blogHUD.com
